We have finally received our Bee-Bot Robots. We were unable to order them due to supply and demand. The students have experimented with the programming and are looking forward to using them for a variety of activities.
Some of our parents have made a request to send home another permission slip for taking photographs of activities that are happening in school and the classroom. I will send it home on Friday, October 7th. This will only go home to the parents who had marked no on giving us permission to take and use the pictures. If you still would rather that your child not be photographed, please, just check no and send it back to school. That way I know you have received it.
Much to my surprise as I read my email this morning, I learned that the Bee-Bot Robots Project I submitted about a month ago with DonorsChoose.org has been fully funded. I am super excited and can’t wait to get these Bee-Bot Robots in the hands of my students. I know that this new and exciting way of learning will provide them a hands-on experience they will always remember.
A HUGE and HEARTFELT THANK YOU to my anonymous donors, Allan Keiller, Ruth Taylor, Ronald Anderson and to Best School Days for the match. You have made it possible for me to show students the early stages of programming while learning across the curriculum. I look forward to starting the 2016-17 year off with all the ‘buzz’.
We are so excited! The project is almost fully funded! We would appreciate any amount you are willing to give. At this time we have a company that will match all donations. Please help support our project.
